Celebrating 50 years

Empowering Change, Shaping Futures and Advancing Justice

50 Years of Excellence

Join us as we celebrate 50 years of excellence in social work education at Eastern Washington University! Since 1974, EWU’s School of Social Work program has been dedicated to empowering students with the knowledge and skills to make a positive impact in our communities.

For half a century, the Social Work Program at EWU has been a beacon of social justice, advocacy, and service. Our alumni have gone on to lead meaningful careers, championing causes that matter most. The year-long celebration culminates Saturday, April 26th in Everett. We have several opportunities if you or your organization would like to contribute to our event.

About the April 26 Celebration

Join us for a special celebration! EWU School of Social Work is excited to be celebrating 50 years. Thank you to our staff, faculty, students, alumni and community for the support and making the program what it is today! We wouldn’t be here without you.

Learn about the past, present, and future of the School of Social Work while you enjoy refreshments & dessert. The event will wrap up with time to reunite with friends and colleagues and make lasting memories at the photo booth.
