Access & Affordability
Help us keep EWU accessible to all students by supporting scholarships for today’s Eagles and future generations. Your gift helps students connect classroom learning to real-world careers through employer visits and professional mentoring. It also fills financial gaps, keeping students on track to graduate and empowering them to excel academically and professionally despite financial challenges.
Hands-On Learning
As the region’s polytechnic, Eastern Washington University is focused on applied learning that integrates innovation, sustainability and hard work to benefit our region. Through a combination of partnerships, collaborative projects, and community empowerment, EWU students gain real-world experience that prepares them for workplace success that contributes to vibrant, economically healthy communities.
Build Healthy Communities
EWU is a leader in educating healthcare professionals who make a difference. As our region, state and country struggled with a shortage of nurses, EWU added Nursing to its slate of respected allied health programs. In Spring 2025, the first cohort of nurses will graduate – ready to tackle diverse healthcare needs in urban and rural communities.
Community Through Athletic Excellence
EWU Athletics is often called the “front porch” of our university, engaging students, alumni, donors, and friends through intercollegiate competition, and keeping our Eagle community connected. As part of our commitment to investing in people and places, we’re focused on enhancing facilities and helping our student-athletes excel both on the field and in the classroom.
