Build Our Future: The Campaign for Eastern

Eastern Washington University has a proud history of transforming lives through accessible, high-quality education. Since 1882, EWU has empowered students from diverse backgrounds to pursue degrees that lead to fulfilling, in-demand careers.

As the region’s polytechnic, EWU provides opportunities for applied learning that position graduates to thrive as working professionals who fill vital community needs.

EWU is committed to keeping tuition affordable and providing real-life experiences that prepare students for success in their chosen fields.

With the Build Our Future campaign, EWU aims to raise $100 million to remove barriers and create a path to success for the students we serve. This is the first comprehensive fundraising campaign in Eastern’s history, and we’re calling on our alumni, industry partners, honorary Eagles, and friends of the university to join us in this transformative effort.

Building Pathways for Students

Your gift will make an impact for many years to come, helping EWU accomplish the following:

Developing Leaders

Attract and graduate talented professionals who become community leaders.

Recruiting Top Educators

Hire top educators and researchers to teach and mentor students.

Expanding Research & Learning

Increase research and applied-learning opportunities.

Building Community Partnerships

Enhance partnerships benefiting students and the community.

You Can Help Us Build Our Future

More than ever, EWU students are juggling full class schedules with jobs while trying to cover college and living expenses. Gifts to the university open doors, provide emergency assistance and make it possible for students to participate in internships and research projects that are unpaid, yet develop key professional skills while bettering the community. You make a lifelong difference for students and communities.

Thank you! You’re the reason a lot of EWU students can keep going. You give opportunities for students who need it.” ~ Jessikah Smith, a Fox Family Education Scholarship recipient
