About
The Honors Program and the Provost’s office provided funds to create an Honors Fellow Program. This program will offer selected faculty $1000 for proposing a new Honors Course, participating in, at least, one professional development activity during each quarter with the Honors Fellows in the program, and teaching the proposed course.
Eight faculty members will be selected as Honors Fellows and recognized for their contributions to creating an Honors Community of Learning and Practice. If you are interested, please fill out the brief application below. Applications will close on Nov. 1, 2024.
The Honors Advisory Board will review applications shortly after the dateline. Fellowship awards will be announced before the end of the fall quarter.
All proposals need to integrate Community Engagement/Experiential Learning as a component of the course. Additionally, they must include how the courses address the Honors Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs). For more information about the Honors Mission, Core Values, and Honors SLOs, please visit: ewu.edu/honors
Honors Courses may fulfill BACRs, Global or Diversity requirements. These courses will have to be approved by CPAC and GEC.
