To be considered for an exception, students must possess an index score (GPA x 200 + GMAT) ≥1050 and submit both a letter of appeal and current resume.

Students with no formal education in business administration may need to complete up to three foundation requirements. The specific courses and the resulting required credit hours are determined by an assessment of each student’s educational background and specific coursework. Students can take pre-requisite courses at EWU or another AACSB-accredited school. Other course equivalents need to be approved by the School of Business’s respective department chairs as coordinated by the MBA Program Specialist. Students must meet with the MBA Program Specialist to determine which foundational courses need to be fulfilled. Students may not register for many of the MBA core courses or any of the MBA electives until they have fulfilled the foundation requirements.
