Add-on Endorsement in Early Childhood Special Education

About

In the Early Childhood Special Education Add-on Endorsement Program, you will be prepared to work with young children with disabilities from birth to age 3. You’ll get a broad introduction to special education and study methods for teaching young children and children with disabilities. The program focuses on effective intervention practices used in early childhood special education for home and school settings.

This program is designed for candidates who currently possess a Washington State Teaching Certificate. This program also meets the requirements for an endorsement in Early Childhood Special Education.
