About

The Online Addiction Studies Licensed Professionals Graduate Certificate program is available for individuals who have completed a master’s degree with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or above, and currently hold, or are working toward, their license with the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) in one of the health care professions listed below or other state licensing boards with prior approval:

  • Advanced registered nurse practitioner
  • Marriage and family therapist
  • Mental health counselor
  • Advanced social worker
  • Independent clinical social worker
  • Psychologist
  • Osteopathic physician
  • Osteopathic physician assistant
  • Physician
  • Physician assistant

Financial aid is available for this certificate program. Addiction Studies faculty and staff are available for personal academic advising for prospective and/or current students. Please contact us at adst@ewu.edu for additional information.

Addiction Studies programs are offered completely online.  We work to provide education that helps qualify students to sit for certification/licensure examinations through states affiliated with NAADAC and IC & RC.

  • Students attending this program must already be licensed in one of the health care professions listed below:
