Isase-Maics 2018 Conference

The Information Systems and Business Analytics Department hosted a successful international conference May 31 – June 1, 2018, on EWU Spokane campus. The ISASE-MAICS 2018 (The 4th International Symposium on Active Science and Engineering, and the 29th Modern Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science Conference) attracted more than 70 participants from the U.S., Canda, Japan, India, Bangladesh and other countries.

Two groups of our undergraduate analytics students presented their research papers, and several MIS students demonstrated the PiLAb Security Simulation Projects from Atsushi Inoue’s Information Security Management class. Student presenters included Peter Matson, Molly Mueller, Mason Krupp and Christian Montel.
