Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) provides students with the opportunity to hold leadership positions within the society, job shadow local professionals, apply for scholarships and have access to valuable field-specific internships.

Members meet weekly to discuss professionally relevant topics and to plan upcoming PRSSA-sponsored events such as fundraisers, guest speakers, and networking opportunities. Contact us at EWUPRSSA1@gmail.com.

Practice Lab

The Barbara Shields Communication Student Practice Lab, located in the Communications Building, is a technologically enhanced audio-visual presentation and conference room.

The lab space provides students with an excellent place to produce engaging presentations suitable for educational and professional situations. Graduate students use the lab for thesis defenses. Faculty members work with students who require additional help outside of the classroom and utilize the lab for faculty committee work on various departmental projects.
