Minor in Biology

About

The Minor in Biology is designed to give you a broad background in biology. You’ll get an introduction to biology, including a review of chemistry from atomic structure through respiration, cell, and molecular biology and genetics. You’ll also study evolution, diversity of life, interaction among organisms and their environment, and the structure and function of plants and animals with an emphasis on flowering plants and vertebrates. In addition, you’ll learn about experimental design and performance.

Note: This minor does not meet the endorsement requirement for teachers.
