Students who earn an MS in Professional Cybersecurity from EWU should be able to:

  • create security policies for protection of company assets;
  • demonstrate knowledge of security techniques in order to secure premises, networks, equipment, and information;
  • identify how hackers, hacktivists, and highly skilled cyber criminals attack the company including the tools they use and techniques;
  • use tools such as vulnerability scanners, traffic analysis tools, port scanners, and risk assessment.
