About
Vernon Loke, PhD, is a Professor at EWU’s School of Social Work, and a Faculty Associate at the Center for Social Development, Washington University in St Louis. He also directs the Graduate Certificate in Program Evaluation at EWU. Dr Loke’s research interests include examining the development and impact of financial capability and asset-building policies and interventions; the development and evaluation of financial education and financial coaching programs; and the intersection between social work practice and the financial capability of clients and service providers. He also serves on the boards of several community organizations, and as a consulting editor for both the journals of Social Work, and Social Work Research.
