Anna Dvorak, an assistant professor of geography at EWU, died in a climbing accident in Idaho’s Sawtooth Mountains in 2015. A memorial fund in Anna’s honor will help students continue her love of geography.

PHOTOS: Laptops Arrive for Students in Need

The shift to virtual learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic left many EWU students without the technology they require to continue their education. The EWU Foundation and the university’s Student Care Team recognized the need and quickly utilized the Student Emergency Fund to purchase Chromebooks for such students.
