Dear Eagle Family and Friends,
Summer is just around the corner at EWU, and the cherry blossoms are painting our campus pink – a beautiful sight to accompany the sunny weather. And for our seniors — summer means graduation!
I have had the honor of attending three commencement ceremonies so far, the annual African American community graduation, the Native American community graduation, as well as graduation for EWU’s College of Health Science and Public Health. And in a few short weeks, we’ll hold EWU’s main commencement ceremony for graduates in the colleges of Professional Programs, STEM, and Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences. As EWU president, there is no greater feeling than watching our graduates cross the stage to receive their diploma, a wonderful celebration of their resilience, perseverance and inspiring transformation.
