Hey, Eagles, Families, and Friends!

Happy New Year and welcome to Winter Quarter! It’s hard to believe that your student started classes almost 4 months ago!

About Us

The Welcome Desk is the face of the Pence Union Building (aka PUB). We are located on the second floor of the PUB between the Union Market and Freshens. Our mission is to help create an inclusive environment, designed to cultivate interaction, encourage engagement, advance student success, and foster a sense of belonging for all EWU community members.

Services

At the Welcome Desk, we do more than just welcome. We do a lot, but here a small list of ways we can help you and your students. We do more, but I don’t want to overwhelm you.

We can answer almost any question about campus. If we don’t, we’ll find out!
We’ll help you get from point A to point B. We’ll even give you a map.
Need to get your marketing for an event approved? We’ll approve it!
We have a growing collection of stickers free for the taking. Try collecting our monthly Swoop stickers!
We have large buttons to help you celebrate your birthday or a big accomplishment!
We give out free plants multiple times a quarter!
We have a stapler that get used A LOT by students.
Sometimes we have candy.
Students can check out HDMI cables from us.
We have the Lost & Found boxes!
We manage the donation bins for all fundraisers and drives.
We have friendly staff!

- Lights, sound, tables, chairs, and drapes
- Selling things on-campus
Housing & Residential Life (housing@ewu.edu)
- Meal plan adjustments
- Removal of housing holds
- Room changes
- Applications & Exceptions
Parking Services (parking@ewu.edu)
- Passes
- Charges & Fees
- Note: Any parking spaces that use the apps PayByPhone or ParkMobile are not managed by the University. You’ll have to go through those vendors for any complaints.
