Quarters
Most EWU Summer Session courses are held on a quarter schedule. This includes eight-week and four-week courses.
Semesters
Only CMSD, OT and PT summer classes are held on a semester schedule. These courses are for admitted EWU students only.
Short Courses & Workshops
If you take a study abroad class or participate in a field camp, your class might be considered a short course or workshop.

The only classes held on a semester schedule are CMSD, OT and PT courses.

Vacation Dates
Planning on taking classes year-round? You’ll have the weekend between spring semester and summer semester off, plus three weeks between summer and fall semester.
